- July 1996: Degree in Biological Sciences magna cum laude.
- January 2000: PhD in Genetics (National award of the Italian Genetics Association for the best PhD thesis in Genetics of 2000).
- July 2000 - February 2006: Post Doctoral fellow, Dept. of Biology, Univ. of Padova.
- March 2006 - April 2015: Research Associate, Medical School, University of Padova, working at the Biology Department.
- From March 2006: Associate professor of Applied Biology, Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova
